They held a Senate inquiry, and obstructed the confirmation until their demands for an FBI investigation were met. The accusations were false, so was the testimony, and so are the witness statements. No one in the GOP initiated any hearing or investigation into Obama's citizenship.

Trump ordered an FBI supplemental background investigation concerning the allegations, but Ford, Kavanaugh, and dozens of other witnesses were not interviewed by the FBI due to restrictions imposed by the White House.

The fact that a few people who she said were at the party either didn't remember or refuted her claims outright, is proof of nothing other than they either don't remember or wouldn't admit they did out of personal loyalty to BK or political bias.

I'm sure for everyone else who attended, it was just another run of the mill party that happened so long ago, it didn't stand out in their minds. Nobody remembers every party they went to as teenagers, especially if they weren't dragged them into a bedroom where someone attempted to rape them.
