Is it possible??

While driving to an appointment today, a local radio talk show was broadcasting a pre-recorded show (due to the regulars taking a holiday vacation) and it was about Memorials throughout the US.

While listening to the show, one of the areas they mentioned was Mt. Rushmore and this got me pondering something.

What with the outcry for removing statues, a mural, renaming of buildings and streets, etc. (in the name of Social Justice), I began wondering how long it will be before there is a movement to remove memorials and statues from DC and possibly blasting off the carved faces on Mt. Rushmore.

Does anyone foresee this being a possibility or probability; because it wasn't that long ago, when it wasn't anticipated the removal of certain items today??

The current event is the recent phenomenon of people tearing down statues.

Answer is no, but the more interesting question would be if they added say two or three new figures who would they be?

The show spoke of the possibility of adding any more faces to the 4 that are there and it seems that all of the rock that is carvable has been used and what's left would not be usable for such.

The only statues that I've heard of anyone wanting to tear down are those of CSA traitors.

The motivation for tearing the statues down was based on them representing slave owners. Not their being traitors to America. Washington and Jefferson owned slaves. It's not a stretch that libtard SJWs could eventually push to have them removed from Mt. Rushmore.
