Trump Could Learn from Gore on How to Handle an Election Interference Scandal

As details of the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting on the promise of Russian dirt on Hillary Clinton have emerged, a number of old Gore and George W. Bush staffers recall an episode from the 2000 campaign. A debate preparation binder compiled by the Bush campaign was delivered to an adviser to the Gore campaign. Instead of using stolen insider information, the Gore campaign immediately reported it to the FBI. That was the honorable path, and one that should have been apparent to Trump campaign officials when they were approached by Russians.

He is right, not a fair comparison. On one hand you got a man w/ morals, convictions, ethics etc & on the other you got trump who don't know right from wrong..

So IGNORING state election laws as well as Article II of the US Constitution, and the 14th Amendment, etc., etc. is the "way to handle election interference".

He was just knee deep in the Russian interference. Trump said he has no problem with doing it. Gore was not president when he did the right thing. Nobody expects Trump to do the right thing and he said he would not. Trump has no values and no respect for the law and you approve of it. Trump is a terrible problem, but so are you.
