The U.S. Treasury is denying a piece from the failing New York Times which accused the Trump administration of delaying the release of the $20 Harriet Tubman bill and doing so for political reasons.


Former Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew set the process in motion in 2016. Proponents of the bill change hoped that it would be completed by 2020, in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.

However, during an appearance before the House Financial Services Committee in May, Mnuchin noted that a 2020 rollout was improbable– if not impossible– due to daunting technical issues. Mnuchin indicated that the redesigned bill would make an emergence in 2028 with designs coming out two years prior.

“The scheduled release of the $20 bill is on a timetable consistent with the previous administration,” Crowley said in a statement.

“The Secretary at this point is focused on security features and anti-counterfeiting measures related to the currency,” the statement continued. “The suggestion that the process is being delayed is completely erroneous.”

Bureau of Engraving and Printing Director Len Olijar also released a strong statement denying the existence of a potential 2020 release.

Olijar added that the failing Times’ “sneak peek” of the Tubman $20 bill is not anything new. Rather, it is merely a “copy of an old Series note with the signatures of former officials, with a different image super-imposed on it.”

“It is not a new $20 note, as incorrectly stated by the failing New York Times, in any way, shape or form,” Olijar said. “The facsimile contained no security features or offset printing included on currency notes.”

“There is nothing about that illustration that even begins to meet technical requirements for the next family of notes,” he added.

CNN, which always lands in far-last place and axed more than 100 jobs already this year, had about as bad of a ratings month as is possible in May.

Its primetime hours were only able to average a measly 761,000 viewers, while the fake news outlet’s total day viewers dove nine percent (compared to this same month last year) to just 559,000 viewers.

For comparison purposes, Fox News earned three times as many primetime viewers (2.34 million) and more than twice as many total day viewers (1.34 million). What’s more, when compared to this same month last year, Fox lost none of its primetime viewers and only four percent of its total day viewers.

The most astounding thing, though, is that CNN’s ratings are already so low, it seems impossible they could dive any lower — and yet, they always do.

Do you have any idea just how low 761,000 primetime viewers is?

How does a nationally known brand like CNN, a brand that is decades old, only manage to attract 761,000 viewers throughout a gonzo news month in a country of over 300 million?

But this is just how far over the cliff CNN has gone.

CNN has lost almost all of its viewers, all of its moral authority, and every bit of trust it once had. Over the past six years, as soon as Jeff Zucker took over, CNN got every major national story exactly wrong, including:

• Trump Can’t Win

• And in every one of those cases, CNN got it deliberately wrong because CNN is nothing less than a hysterical propaganda outlet, a fire hose of hate, violence, and lies

Things are so bad at CNN that even though it is only competing with two other cable news networks, the fake news outlet’s top-rated program, Cuomo Prime Time, crash-landed in 25th place averaging only 938,000 viewers.

The top 24 slots are all filled with shows from Fox News and MSNBC — and Fox holds seven of the top ten.

JEW-HATING MUSLIM IS A BIGAMIST AND TAX CHEAT

Last week, we were given the news that Ilhan Omar had committed campaign finance violations.

It took an announcement by Minnesota campaign finance officials to finally get a few mainstream outlets to notice.

Then things got worse, as it became clear that part of the entire scheme involved her filing joint tax returns with someone she wasn’t married to, all while simultaneously being married to another man.

The Associated Press did finally put out a story on the ordeal, but decided to use it’s position to shill for Omar.

Instead of an investigative piece on her wrongdoing, they found an “expert” to do a Q&A assuring everyone that Omar is in the clear.

Despite the mainstream press’ desire to bury this story, Omar’s hometown paper has a bit of a harsher (but not too harsh) take. While they are extremely pro-DEMOCRAT, the Star Tribune’s editorial board took the Congresswoman to task: It’s against the law in Minnesota to file jointly unless one filer is legally married to the other. Last year Omar told the Star Tribune that she had married her partner “in her faith,” and had earlier divorced her first husband “in her faith.” That’s fine for religious purposes. But for tax purposes, only civil marriages qualify. It’s not known whether she benefited materially by filing jointly. That is something that voters, who are obliged to follow tax laws no matter how painful, are entitled to know.

Omar’s excuse has been to say she was divorced and remarried in her “faith.” The IRS doesn’t care about that.
