awesome.. Mitch McConnel had his podium serious look on earlier saying tariffs *are this and that*
    and "hard to support"..
He would have done better if he had just #STFU and let Trump be presidential.

Burt he's at least not delusional like Pelosi . or Uber-Snarky like Schumer

On Friday night, Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer mockingly tweeted it was a "historic night" and "Now that that problem is solved, I'm sure we won't be hearing any more about it in the future."

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

They (Mexico) are sending 6,000 National Guard to their southern border..does that stop the migrant or not?

But there are other things like going after human and drug trafficing by Mexico on the smuggler/ coyotes routes

There is also a privision that Asylum Claims be repatriated to Mexico while processing.

Also the foreign minister (I think) said they would take more measures if need be..

It helps cut the flow, but it doesn't help when thy get to our border - because Congress won't change asylum law

I was Dem in name at least, then Republican by default since the Dem's went over the left cliff progressive.
I like the term" populist" -my kind of politics.

I like Trump as a successful president outsider, -it would be awesome if he continues to succeed; overturning the stagnant current Swamp..and using presidential power to leverage the economy to facilitate a national security issue.
    That's an international power play!

Who is paying for their prolonged stay in Mexico?
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

This is all I know. I saw a report on the agreement.

Either Obrador got really smart really fast, or he thinks he can dance later -but I doubt it,
as their FM committed to more if this doesn't work.

Looks like Trump pulled a Major Jawboning on Obrador

Trump suspends tariffs on Mexico after deal on immigration reached

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that he has indefinitely suspended the threat of tariffs against Mexico after reaching “a signed agreement” on immigration.

“I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico,” Trump said on Twitter. “The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended,” he said.

“Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border. This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States,” Trump said.

Yep. You'd think McConnell and other half-baked Republican invertebrates would just stand back & let him take care of business.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

This ridiculous charade appears to be another tRump distraction ploy and/or a ploy to obscure the ongoing investigation against him in Congress. Yet, it appears tRump is good at thinking he is crazy like a fox when it comes to creating a problem and then back down on it, especially when it comes to warnings of a Congressional revolt on his hide and other corrective actions against him but to make it appear he solved the issue. The illusion of creating a problem and solving a problem is not a success factor but the actions of a con artist like tRump in my opinion.
