Default Keeping Them Out Is Better Than Letting Them Come In

This is terrific news for Americans:

To address the emergency at the Southern Border, I am invoking the authorities granted to me by the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Accordingly, starting on June 10, 2019, the United States will impose a 5 percent Tariff on all goods imported from Mexico. If the illegal migration crisis is alleviated through effective actions taken by Mexico, to be determined in our sole discretion and judgment, the Tariffs will be removed. If the crisis persists, however, the Tariffs will be raised to 10 percent on July 1, 2019. Similarly, if Mexico still has not taken action to dramatically reduce or eliminate the number of illegal aliens crossing its territory into the United States, Tariffs will be increased to 15 percent on August 1, 2019, to 20 percent on September 1, 2019, and to 25 percent on October 1, 2019. Tariffs will permanently remain at the 25 percent level unless and until Mexico substantially stops the illegal inflow of aliens coming through its territory. Workers who come to our country through the legal admissions process, including those working on farms, ranches, and in other businesses, will be allowed easy passage.

If Mexico fails to act, Tariffs will remain at the high level, and companies located in Mexico may start moving back to the United States to make their products and goods. Companies that relocate to the United States will not pay the Tariffs or be affected in any way.

Over the years, Mexico has made massive amounts of money in its dealings with the United States, and this includes the tremendous number of jobs leaving our country.

Should Mexico choose not to cooperate on reducing unlawful migration, the sustained imposition of Tariffs will produce a massive return of jobs back to American cities and towns. Remember, our great country has been the “piggy bank” from which everybody wants only to TAKE. The difference is that now we are firmly and forcefully standing up for America’s interests.

    XXXXX

. . . Mexico cannot allow hundreds of thousands of people to pour over its land and into our country—violating the sovereign territory of the United States.

Donald Trump Declares He Will Increase Tariffs on Mexico Until Illegal Immigration Remedied
    by MICHELLE MOONS

I do not know if Democrats in Congress can block trump, but I am certain that Pelosi and Schumer already found an Obama judge that will prohibit Trump from implementing his brilliant tariff strategy.

More importantly, what is President Trump going to do when the United Nations turns all of those illegal aliens into economic refugees demanding political asylum?

Every decision made in this country must first be cleared by the United Nations. The United Nations hierarchy decides everything from the atmosphere’s temperature to immigration policies.

The basic test of freedom is perhaps less in what we are free to do than in what we are free not to do. It is the freedom to refrain, withdraw and abstain which makes a totalitarian regime impossible. Eric Hoffer

Parenthetically, I can only pray that a lower court judge cannot stop this (I do not have much faith in the SCOTUS if it gets that far):

Like every other policy ever proposed or enacted by the Trump administration, court action is being threatened.

To Gonzomin: Pompeo a Bilderberger comes as no surprise.

Pompeo is a hit and miss type of guy:

Trump/Pompao sticking their noses in Venezuela’s internal affairs is none of their business. Apparently, global busybodies never learn.

On the other hand Trump is fighting for democracy in Venezuela. Listen to Pompeo advocate democracy (nation-building):

All of Pompeo’s touchy-feely crocodile tears avoid one fact. Venezuela is not a military threat to this country.

We need lots of workers for farms, restaurants, hotel industry, hospitals, and many other jobs. We do need millions of them. The truth is immigrants increase the economy and tax revenue. Many start their own businesses.
My grandfather came here and worked in coal mines. None of his descendants work in mines now.

Gonzo: "My grandfather came here and worked in coal mines. None of his descendants work in mines now.'
Jack: My grandfather worked in a Shoe Factory. We don't have those here anymore either.

You probably haven't noticed, since you are obviously one of the Elites that sends the Help out to do everything for you, but Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence will be doing most of the 'manual labor' from here on out. Have you seen any Gas Station attendants lately? Have you ever 'checked out' your own groceries at a Food Store or your own construction material at a Hardware Store? Have you heard about 'Autonomous Vehicles'? Where 18-Wheelers, Taxis, and Delivery Vans will drive themselves?
Now, you can keep telling yourself that America needs millions of low skilled Labor to fill the Factories, Plants, and Industrial Sites here in America, but THAT is NOT true. Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence will be doing the Labor here. All you are doing is promoting a greater group of people to be collecting a Universal Basic Income that will need to be implemented in the Future.

    We need LESS people.

We need more now. You are talking about a speculative future which has been predicted for a century. These predictions are not new. We have been automating for many years and we have a growing workforce.

Keep repeating that ... and keep wondering why the American Working Class votes for people like Trump.

I know why. They are ignorant of the facts and buy right-wing propaganda. It has nothing to do with automation and immigrants. Your life is not hampered by a Mexican picking crops. It is gutted by billionaires lobbying for legislation that guts you. It is by tax breaks to the top 1 percent. It is by wealthy being able to hide money. The Latino working in a taco restaurant is not your problem. You guys just cannot learn.
It is normal and a fact of humanity that we look down on people we think are below us . It is tough to recognize and tough to stop. This is where your money is going.https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...VRMaw0KHbKD40Q

The Working Class Americans see their jobs going to Third World Labor. People that will outwork them. People that will work through Lunch. People that will work for less.
Who is the Capitalist going to pick, ... the most hard-working, the one that will work for less, the one that is more easily exploitable ... or the fat, over-paid American?
Who benefits from Third World Labor? Capitalists, or the American Working Class?

Did he come legally? You do know there is a difference between following the rules vs. coming here by breaking them then demanding the rules be changed to suit you.
