What do you call Herman Cain and Ben Carson?

Promoting things that give people something they didn't earn doesn't improve anything. It teaches freeloaders how to beg.
That's the talking point, but in practice, it actually raises the living standards.

How were either one promoted because of skin color. Where was their VP talking about the importance of skin color?

So rewarding freeloaders is a good thing to you?

Neither of them had any political experience or were even that smart. The GOP just wants the black vote. That's why they never shut up with the talking points.

No, I don't think people should be given something if they choose to not work. But I do think we should be trying to create a more level playing field.

    Good grief, pebble by pebble.

"Carson graduated with honors from Southwestern, having also become a senior commander in the school's ROTC program. He earned a full scholarship to Yale, receiving a B.A. degree in psychology in 1973.

Carson enrolled in the School of Medicine at the University of Michigan, choosing to become a neurosurgeon. In 1975, he married Lacena "Candy" Rustin, whom he met at Yale. Carson earned his medical degree, and the young couple moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he became an intern at Johns Hopkins University in 1977. His excellent eye-hand coordination and three-dimensional reasoning skills made him a superior surgeon early on. By 1982, he was chief resident in neurosurgery at Hopkins."

    Not smart?

Someone can be good at certain things and still not have common sense.

Compartmentalized smart. It appears he was good in a specific branch of medicine. That does not qualify him to run a large government agency outside his narrow field of expertise. When he speaks his incompetence and lack of understanding is revealed. In language and organization, he is low IQ.

But, leftists are always going to get called-out for it, and for good reason: Why should those of us who are patriots have to be impacted by any measures supported by those who are not? During the Revolutionary War, many patriots forced many loyalists to go live in Canada.
A flag isnt all that important within the larger scheme of things. A flag once allowed soldiers to distinguish themselves from the enemy so that they didnt kill their own allies while in battle. Flags are widely used with international conferences to help distinguish attendees during peace stalks.

A flag is a physical representation of a persons' allegiance. To desecrate a flag publicly is a visual representation of insurrection. Soldiers rally around their flag to solidify their allegiance.

Except for a few Native Americans, the word "American" doesn't refer to an ethnicity. It refers only to a nationality.
Lacking ethnic heterogeneity, Americans also lack solidarity.

Conservatives tend to be middle Americans of Anglo or Germanic descent, and very clannish in their mistrust of multicultural coastals. They strive for something of their own,
even though that leads to xenophobia and racism. Because urban coastals look down on their provincialism and their lower levels of education, the right wingers stick together and fight modernity with all that they've got. They voted for Trump because they're frightened of intellectualism and Trump represents anti-intellectualism in the extreme.

Talk about disrespecting the flag. What they place in an empty symbol, I'd rather place in people. I love this country, but I sure as hell am not proud of it. Not only is pride a sin, but the country doesn't deserve it. We should all be embarrassed for the shell of ourselves this country is. Just like with family, you won't kiss ass, and say you're doing great, when you're a mess. You'd knock them till they woke up, and got things together. That's what caring about someone, or something really means. Much better then hollow cheering, that we're the best, no matter what the score is. As a country we are far from the best, and in many ways we just plain suck. If you care for real, you'd work to change it.
I think patriots don't hold the 13 stripe 50 star American flag in as high regard as say Southerners regard the orange and blue confederate flag or the spanish that tout mexican flags in the American south. To a patriot their actions and family are more important than fussing over a rag.

The way I see it is if I'm looking at the correct flag well then I'm in the right place. Shouldn't be that difficult.

I've asked this question before, specifically, how does one define hating the country, and I never get a solid answer.
I really don't think Obama hates the U.S.A. but its safe to say he hates a ton of individuals in this country.

I blame the central bankers and their control of the world.

central banks were in the communist manifesto, and are the spine of "capitalism".

    Thats not true.

The left is full of cons who are always bringing up new ways of getting what they want. Thats the core of being tricky.

The right is stable and full of tradition. The right knows what works and doesnt wildly change things to acheive a goal. Not much thinking required to keep a fine tuned machine running. Just maintenance.

Think of the left as an orphanage and the right as a solid family with deep ties.

The poster sincerely believes this. It makes sense to him or her. The extent of this kind of anti-intellectualism is why this country will not experience solidarity in any of our lifetimes.
