    Charges of espionage are ridiculous.

I don't agree with Assange targeting the US (and not also being brave enough to target Russia and other enemies) the way he did.

That said, he never engaged in any of the illegal activities which led to the acquisition of the documents he dumped via Wikileaks. Some of the true perpetrators of espionage (Snowden, Manning) have already been pursued or apprehended. I accept his defense of journalistic freedom, even if people will argue that he didn't report or editorialize on the documents in the traditional sense of journalism.

In the beginning, right and left approved of Wiki Leaks. It was providing the world with secrets that our governments were hiding including crimes and atrocities. You rightys claiming you were against it, in the beginning, are Trumping. Just bigly lying.

I think you've misread the question.

You can dig through the archives of chat forums and conservative sites like NR to find the lie in that.

WikiLeaks demands answers as Twitter account LOCKED ahead of Assange extradition hearing

WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson is seeking answers after the publisher’s official account was mysteriously locked, ahead of an extradition hearing for founder Julian Assange, who faces life in a US jail (or worse).
