I don't care what you think I look like, because you don't know anything.

But thanks to Fox News, Socialism has been redefined in America. When Americans say they want Socialism, they mean the economic policies of Scandinavian countries.
Yet those Scandinavian countries that you admire are moving away from the cradle to grave welfare model. There is no way on Earth that the high taxes of Scandinavia would be tolerated in the US, the consensus in Europe is breaking down, due in part to high immigration, and the resultant deliterious effect on the Welfare State and also the postwar consensus is no longer sustainable.

Maybe, but words change over time. After the GOP and Fox News spent eight years calling Obama a Socialist, most Americans now think any government regulations that help the working-class are Socialism.
So if you say you want Democratic Socialism, people know what you mean. The word has evolved and now means something like Nordic economics.

It isn't a dichotomy, you don't have to pick one or the got to pick one or the other, in fact, there doesn't exist a pure capitalist nor socialist economy in the world, all nations have a mixed economy, the US has been partially socialist since the 19th Century

Not according to the Democratic Socialists of America, of which some congresspeople are members. Even they know the difference between Social democracy and democratic socialism.

Sadly, yes. A country can't have both a welfare state and mass immigration, but Europe has made the idiotic decision to attempt both.
The good news is many right-wing Nationalist parties in Europe are still pretty left-wing and are making the argument that they need to close the borders so that they can maintain their welfare state.

More than likely, 4 in 10 are Midwest farmers who see that trump's brand of capitalism isn't working. In fact, they're all in line with their hands out for round two of Socialism handouts

    Which congresspeople are members?

Based on what they're saying here, I can't think of any politicians who represent their views.

How do you get the government acted in a socialist capacity in that ruling?
