As for a "chick magnet," I don't know, but you'd better bring a blanket to lay on the grass, there ain't much room in the bed.
If I can get some in the back seat of a Mini Cooper that little truck would be a piece of cake, in my younger days.

Mini Cooper's aren't as small as they look.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Speaking of Coopers, I always thought it would be cool to put a 289 HiPo and a solid rear end in one, I bet it would rip!

England. The only real difference between a Austin mini and a Mini Cooper was the Cooper had dual carbs a more powerful engine and a stiffer suspension for racing. They even had Mini panel trucks.

Don't forget that it can't be very deep also, seeing as how the engine is located under the "bed".

In 1997, VW put the engine in the front of the Beetle when it became front wheel drive.

I didn't know that; because I always thought they had remained a rear engine setup.

The rear engine setup, is one of the reasons I still like the Chevy Corvair.

You should have seen the Corvair that parked next to me at a cruise in a few weeks ago. The guy did a complete A-1 restoration on it, tastefully chromed the engine compartment and added a nice set of wheels.
It drew a ton of attention, as it deserved.
