During the 2016 campaign, Trump traveled around the rust belt making promise after empty promise.

He went to towns in coal mining states and promised he'd revive the coal industry.

Never happened.

He went to towns in steel industry states and promised he'd revive the steel industry.

Yesterday, in what is possibly a perfect metaphor for Trump's empty promises, a 332 foot tall icon of Pennsylvania's steel industry that had towered above the surrounding countryside for 47 years, came crashing to the ground in a matter of seconds, imploded after sitting empty for over a decade.

Trump squeaked by in Pennsylvania by 44,292 votes, or about .72%. I wonder if those 44,282 people watched that and are feeling like chumps today.
