Do you think he will ever see jail time? I don’t. Unless this gets close to Obama then as Harvey Kitel said in National Treasure “somebody has to go to jail”

Gang of 8 briefing this coming Tues - we'll know more when they leak it
I judge Trump by both his words and the people he keeps around him.

Trump's lexicon is replete with violent fantasies of bombing, blowing shit up, and bullying nations with "armadas".

Trump searched the nation for the absolute best national security adviser and Sec State he could find, and he chose Iraq War Architect John Bolton, and noted pro-Iraq War NeoCon Mike Pompeo.

If that does not telegraph to you that Trumpf is a die hard NeoCon, then you are fooling yourself.

    he's a slippery weasel.
He brought in the FBI with his "Langley Group" - to diffuse responsibility - but he's done some shit like leaking
( or was that Clapper? ) to CNN -and got Harry Reid a copy of the Steele dossier to gin up Russiaphobia..

Honestly it's impossible to say - lets see what Durham and Horowitz etc. turn up first

so where is the interventionism? Did I miss another Libya ?

You confuse bluster with neocons "spreading democracy at the barrel of a gun" like Iraq and Libya
Bluster can be an important component - the problem is it's a dangerous move if it results in war

Trump searched the nation for the best and most qualified national security advisor and Sect State he could find to carry out and represent his vision for foreign policy.

He purposefully chose Iraq War Architects and NeoCons Extraordinaire John Bolton and Mike Pompeo.

We had a working, internationally sanctioned, and verifiable nuclear agreement with Iran. Inspectors were on the ground.

Trump ripped up the treaty and starts beating the drums for war.

My judgment for sniffing out war mongers and NeoCons is excellent, as I knew from the beginning that Bush intended to invade Iraq, and that it would be an epic mistake, all while running a guantlet of rightwing message boarders who told my my judgment sucked.

you speak in such over-wrought generalities like a excitable schoolgirl. Best to be sober and accurate in maters of foreign affairs.

I'm not going to defend Bolton other then the fact Trump wanted someone out of the stale CFR pool of advisors-
he went to Bolton after McMaster wanted to sharply escalate Afghanistan ( we are now in talks w/the Taliban).

Believe it or not Trump wants us out -he wanted us out of Syria as well until he got so much shit for it he capitulated a pro-form force
These are not the actions of a neocon( Trump)

The Iran agreement was worthless and a sop to the regime -I fully support all sanctions on Iran
I'm wary of extending carriers to the Gulf, but it's probably most likely more "bluster" ( pressure)

Wait until after Tues, and see more about that

Flynn was the best suited -loyal, an non-Russiaphobe, and not a neocon,..

But the Deep State Creeps robbed Trump of his services -the one thing they did succeed in doing
