Default Does Anyone Actually Want Joe Biden to Be President?

    The New York Times:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/17/o...president.html

"The most important requirement for the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee? Electability. It matters more, we keep hearing, than nominating a candidate who has good policies. It matters more than nominating a candidate with a track record of passing progressive legislation. It certainly matters more than nominating a candidate who could be the first female president.

Unfortunately, very few people who say they are putting electability first seem to understand what “electability” means, or what today’s electorate actually looks like."

The GOP has drastically changed American politics even before Trump. It's no longer about policy, it's all about winning.

    Well, no, pebble by pebble:

I would remind you, pebble by pebble, that policy can not be implemented without...winning.

Yes, because the GOP has changed American politics. The DNC has no choice now if they want to remain relevant.

Sure, but policy should be put first. Neither party should put winning before everything else.

Do you really think this is going to stop us from ever having another president without the Magic R?

Well, yes, pebble by pebble. I really do indeed think that this is going to stop you from ever having another president without the Magic R? Identity politics, a loser policy.

Indeed I do, pebble by pebble.

All politics is identity politics. It worked for Trump, it worked for Obama, it'll work again.

No, pebble by pebble, all politics are not identity politics, just the radical Democrat Socialists' politics...totally identity politics.

Is that so? When were elections not about winning?

Poor DNC had no choice but to employ identity politics? They're just "victims?"

    Who told you that?

I tried to tell pebble by pebble that policies can not be implemented without winning first. I tried. Don't blame me, Legion.

The Republicans use Christian identity politics all the time. They also present themselves as "real 'muricans" and their opposition is Communists and foreigners. Obama was painted as being both, plus a Muslim.
