"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Tough to tell here if Wallace was really that naive to ever think that Trump actually appointed Barr to be anything but his Roy Cohen.

A competent Attorney General serving the United States was never on Trump's radar, nor was appointing a qualified nominee to the Supreme Court ever a consideration. They are both Trump lackeys being where they are today solely due to their commitment to cover Trump's ass
That's just the way the right rolls.

    Typical Republican sleaze.

For starters, let's find out if the steele dossier was verified before it was used to obtain a FISA warrant

Bingo. Barr has been around the block before and has a nose for sniffing out BS.
I missed the interview this AM, but Barr said he appointed Durham because .....

Barr: Answers did not "hang together" under scrutiny on origins of Russian probe
    https://thehill.com/policy/national-...-russian-probe
I’ve been trying to get answers to the questions and I've found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate and some of the explanations I've gotten don't hang together, in a sense I have more questions today than when I first started," Barr said from El Salvador, where he will address efforts to fight MS-13 and the surge of immigration at the U.S.–Mexico border.

"Some of the explanations of what occurred," he added, are what do not "hang together."

"People have to find out what the government was doing during that period. If we're worried about foreign influence, for the very same reason we should be worried about whether government officials abuse their power and put their thumb on the scale," Barr told Fox News, adding: "I'm not saying that happened but it's something we have to look at."

Barr's comments came days after reports surfaced that the attorney general had tapped John Durham, a longtime Justice Department official who is serving as a U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to review the origins of the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference.

I think spying did occur,” he said during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing. “But the question is whether it was adequately predicated and I’m not suggesting it wasn’t adequately predicated, but I need to explore that.”

Barr later tried to clarify his testimony, saying he was looking into whether “improper surveillance” occurred in 2016.

"I am not saying that improper surveillance occurred. I'm saying that I am concerned about it and looking into it.
    That's all," he said.

And that was apparent with the Russian indictments.

In that summary Rosenstein said ‘no US citizens wittingly aided the Russians’ or to the effect. If the Trump campaign was coordinating with the Russians then Mullet should have at least picked up some ‘chatter’ about the troll farm messaging from the Trump campaign to the Russians.

I was fairly confident the Russian conspiracy was bullshit even before that but the real question is why didn’t Mullet give a preliminary report of ‘no-collusion’ when he had to know there was nothing to it a long time before other people were aware of it?

Any surprise Mullet doesn’t want to come before Congress lol?

Chris Wallace is a far left loon just like his father.

He is so biased that I wouldn’t trust him to report on whether the sun is shining.
