What we started out with was Trump ass lickers asserting that anyone who wanted to come here needed to have a job, money, a years worth of savings, and to speak passable English.

They only belatedly back tracked and made a concession to refugees from communism on humanitarian grounds, after I brought it up.

The fact that they continue to draw an arbitrary moral distinction between refugees fleeing communism, and refugees fleeing the violence and death of central american conflict zones tells us what we all knew from the very beginning.
