What a dumbfuck! Trump proposes something and insults those he needs support from and someone logically points out that is stupid and you think that's insane?

    Communism.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

No they don't. They can tell trump to get fucked for one more year and then take the senate and dump him and give those dreamers citizenship if they want to. Trump isn't stupid enough to start deporting them in the next year so who gives a shit if DACA is addressed before then. As a matter of fact why even bother with immigration reform before the shithead is gone? We already have hundreds of fucking stupid things this asshole has done that need to be reversed, why add any more before then?

Yes there pretty much is a shortage now.

    against merit immigration otherwise
No need to, didn't address DACA so there will be no vote on the worthless piece of shit.

This is why a meritocracy with discreet values ( points) assigned to each category ( metric) is not a subjective evaluation.
If it's a point system with clear metrics.
that means there is a verifiable way to check out (appeal) a bureaucrats decision by review .

Trump called it a Muslim ban during the campaign, but SCOTUS reviewed the actual executive action whereby it was called properly a 'Travel Ban" and allowed it to stand.

Like I said; if you apply his rhetoric and tweets only as a Trump evaluation -Trump is only a racist asshole.
But if you dig below the rhetoric to the actions and results themselves he is no such thing-
    he a damn good president.

I don't care about rhetoric - it's literally hot air/noise. His actions are what counts
I know you have to tell yourself that Trump is really a decent human being, who has no axe to grind with brown people, Muslims, immigrants, et al.

I personally take the words that come out of his mouth at face value.

You may be correct in implying that at one time there were sane people around Trump moderating his worst instincts. But they are gone either because they thought Trump was a moron, or because he was just intolerable to work with. As far as I can tell, the only people around Trump now are NeoCons, xenophobes, and white christian nationalists.

Hypocrite sanctuary proponents Pelosi and DeBlasio refuse to take the illegal aliens. NOBODY wants them!

That's the way it is in most other countries.
For that matter, what is the moral distinction between refugees fleeing communism, and refugees fleeing civil wars and drug lords?

I bet 99% of those dreamers can speak English and pass his stupid fucking test, how about saying they get citizenship if they pass?
Pelosi won't deal with Trump. Do you recall the government shutdown?

The way it works is the Dems come back and say "well give you this if you give us that" -at least they would if they were dealing in good faith which the obviously are not

The ones fleeing communism are on the other side of the planet and not likely to ask us for help, so we can weep and commiserate for them all we like. It's the close-by, brown ones that we just be frightened of and build walls against.

beats me on the "morals" .there are specific LAWS for what constitutes political asylum or not.
A person can qualify for asylum if he or she has:

    A reasonable fear.
    Of future persecution.
    On account of.
Race, religion, national origin, political opinion, or membership in a social group.
