A Californian’s vote should count as equally as a Nebraskan’s vote.

Anyone can play that geography game. 70,000 people in only three medium-sized states decided for the rest of us that a dunce who got blown out in the popular vote should be allowed to be president.

A lot of small, rural red states have more cows and corn fields than people.
Cows and corn fields do not vote, and they are not entitled to representation.

The small, rural, conservative states are already given vastly disproportionate power and advantage by over-representation in the U.S. state and in district gerrymandering in the House.

There is no plausible need that tiny, rural states need to also be given a disproportionate advantage in presidential elections. They are given more than enough disproportionate power and representation as it is.
The founding fathers were smart enough back then to see that only leads to mob rule. It never ceases to amaze me how the intellect of Democrat Americans has diminished instead of increasing.

Real wins must be pretty rare for you.

    What exactly is mob rule?

Maine can certainly disenfranchise its voters. Granted this only passed the Maine Senate at this point, but if it becomes state law, then Maine doesn't need to vote for President any more. They want the rest of the country to decide for them.

Same with California and their tax returns law.

That’s good. That means if Watermark moves to New York he can be aborted safely and legally.

Absolutely they can. They can moot the electoral college by requiring all their electoral vote be counted proportionally instead of winner takes all.

Yes, they can, a state can decide what happens with their electoral votes, in the case of Maine, they will go to the popular vote winner.

The Senate voted 19-16 to have Maine join an interstate compact in which participating states agree to award their Electoral College votes to the presidential candidate who receives the most votes nationwide. The vote fell largely along party lines, with all Republicans and two Democrats opposed to it.

Or to the winner of the national popular vote, which is what Maine has done.

Well technically wouldn't Maine's votes be counted in the popular vote?
