Plans? Yeah, I have lots and most involve driving.

I leave work today and drive 250 miles to my in-laws, where my wife has been all week. Spend the night there, then get up in the morning and drive roughly 100 miles to spend the day with my big kids for father's day, and then head back to my in-laws later that night. Then sunday helping my father-in-law have a good father's day. Then up at about 3am monday and drive back to work.

But a day and an evening with my kids, and the rest of the weekend with my wife and her family is worth all the road time.

I'm building my first hives. I have a friend who has some bees on his property in some old hives that he would like replaced. I'm going to be beekeeping this weekend...

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Entertaining family again. Im sure I will spend all weekend wishing I was with my father in law though. Fathers day and he just got diagnosed with lung cancer. He stood by his wifes side the entire time she was going through it until she died a couple of years ago.
Now Im sure hes thinking he knows exactly what is going to happen to him and that he wont have someone to do the same for him. Hes one of the finest people I have ever met in my entire life. I want so much to be there for him. I hope I can.

That's not a bad idea for alzheimers patients.
