The false premise? You are attempting to equate immigration with illegal immigration. By your logic or lack thereof......why have bars in prison, you only need 1 guard per 1000 prisoners. A prison without bars will work better than a prison with bars. FYI: The WALL is not to stop honest LEGAL MIGRATION, its to deter criminal migration. One thing for sure.....the status quo is FUBAR and anything would be better than the democrat plan...….JUST LET EVERYONE IN.....criminals, rapists, child traffickers, drug cartels, gang members, terrorists, and feed and house them, treat their illnesses until they are ready to attack our law abiding citizens and while they are waiting, give them Drivers License, and allow them to vote.The reason why a border wall CANNOT stop the influx of immigrants coming into the US, has to do with the necessity of placing the wall well back from the bank of the Rio Grande on the US side.
Because they can't build the wall right up to the riverbank, there is a strip of "no man's land" which is on US soil. All the immigrants need to do, is wade across the river and step out of the water onto land.
Once they've set foot on this "no man's land", which in this country, they have a legal and constitutional right to apply for asylum.
Hence, the Trump wall is a collosal waste of money. But I'm sure you Trumptards will continue to support it just because it makes you feel good.

SOME PLAN.....any plan that Mr. TRUMP is for the left is against.FYI: There are prerequisites that must be followed to LEGALLY SEEK ASYLUM. No one can seek asylum because they fear living in their own homes because their own government will not product them from crime, will not feed them, will not treat their illness Yada, Yada, Yada...…..any such typical excuse to abuse our system. Being POOR is not a right to seek Asylum.
There has to be "PROTECTIVE" grounds for seeking ASYLUM legally. The things mentioned above does not meet that prerequisite. Protective grounds for asylum include, persecution because of race, national origin, religion, or political affiliation....and or caste/social status....such as was the JEWS persecuted by the NAZIs during the Hitler years. Where are all those concentration camps in South America, all those unmarked graves? Right now....the only people that would legally pass muster for legal Asylum would be the good peoples of Venezuela who are being persecuted by a left wing socialist fascist regime.
