I'm surprised that Katzgar didn't leap all over the morning market selloff and make another DOWN thread. Perhaps he is starting to learn?

are you embarrassed yet, you started a thread denying this^^^^
They pinned their hopes on Trump, but Pennsylvania coal miners still await a comeback

Donald Trump promised to save the coal industry. But seeing few returns, miners are showing their support may not be unconditional.

What assertion? Who claimed any such thing? I simply presented the documented facts. In one year alone over 1400 new coal mining jobs were produced......with a Job multiplier of 4.4 resulting in over 6000 new jobs related to the mining industry. And that was in 1 year and 1 state only. There are some 25 total coal producing states. The math is not that hard. When combined......there are over 45K new jobs related to the mining and other fossil fuel industries. If 1 job comes back that beats losing them to overseas cheap labor that will pollute the atmosphere anyway without any of the regulations that are existing in the United States. Another "inconvenient truth?" Over 63% of all the electricity produced in the US comes from FOSSIL FULES in the form of coal, oil and natural gas. www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=4267&t=3
