Default "Senate Intel Committee subpoenas Donald Trump Jr."

"Trump Jr. received the subpoena to appear before the committee as a follow-up to his prior testimony as part of the Republican-led panel's ongoing Russia probe. Democrats have long suggested that Trump Jr. lied to congressional investigators about his actions and statements during the 2016 presidential campaign."

"It’s the first known congressional subpoena issued to a member of the president’s family."

Two quick thoughts, first, I though Mitch declared yesterday it was now all over, and second, going be tough for Trump and Fox to continue to proclaim it is all just politics when here it is a GOP led Committee that wants to talk to Junior

Going be tough proclaiming "executive privilege" to cover those not working in the White House, or, sending Billy Barr out to cover Junior's ass

"unfinished" or not, it establishes that it isn't over as Mitch had hoped, and, it can't be all political if it is a GOP Commitee issuing the subpoena

And I wouldn't cry over what you see as "fishing expeditions in the House," the Issa, Chaffetz, Nunes, Jordan, Gowdy, and Meadows led House, with full right wing media support, set the precedent with a decade of GOP House "investigations" into everything and anything Hillary/Obama

Bengazi was a real thing that happened under her watch -although I only blame her for lying that "the video did it"
    and not the security

House is looking for banking records etc.where they have no clue what they are looking for =fishing

    and it is so predictable,

the Democrats and their lackeys in the media would get the bank records,
and all you would hear for 2 months is how much money Trump lost, and how he paid no taxes.

As if anyone cares, except them

It's almost like their brains are on hold, you'd think being the party of losers they would be looking for ways to move the needle.
maybe some policy ideas to move the country forward, instead of continualy exposeing how triggered into stupidity they are.

I mean CNN's ratings are lower than the history channel, their party leadership is divided into two different camps, one having an average age of 76, the other anti constitution socialist.

It's a dumpster fire, and no ne is smart enough to pull the fire alarm. But on the plus side the only thing that's going to burn is the dumpster contents I suppose

Benghazi was real, BenghaziGate was not

And they are interested in possible emoluments violations, hardly a "fishing expedition," where else would you look, especially considering Trump goes out of his way to make sure anything to do with his finances are hidden

"getin" always stays true to form, got to love the "some policy ideas," like what did the GOP run on in 2010 other than hating the ACA, or 2012 other than hating Obama, which they repeated in 2014 combining the two, and in 2016 other than Hillary is evil? And now he wants to see "some policy ideas," beautiful

Based who is on the Committee, I am sure it is, plus it would never be public, Harris' questioning would be interesting, but the point is that Trump and Fox can't portray it all as just a Democrat political fishing expedition when it is the GOP Senate Committee who is issuing the subpoena

24 straight "on the advice of counsel, I'm not going to answer that question, Id like to plead the fifth"

    until the nut-bags head explode

Republicans have had to hear that like 10 times in the last 5 years of committee hearings

"who told you to destoy Hillarys blackberry's with a hammer"

    on the advice of council

"who told you to bleach bit Hillarys hard drive"

Imagine Junior sitting thru twenty some hours of televised testimony infront of both GOP Senate and House Committees, and a GOP appointed Special House Committee as Hillary did on three occasions?

    Bad "whataboutism"

Or maybe Junior can answer ‘I don’t remember’ 240 times like Comey did lol.

Somehow I get the idea that wouldn’t go over too well.
