I agree with putting restrictions on what foods are eligible for SNAP, but that rice, flour, rolled oats, and bananas only nonsense is bullshit.

Bread, milk, fruits, vegetables, meats and everything else that goes into the average persons diet need to be included.

Restrict expensive foods like filet mignon, shrimp cocktails, lobster, and high end candies and ice cream like Dove or Godiva etc, and of course, no beer, wine or liquor.

But kids should be allowed to be kids which includes a little candy and cake and ice cream and soda pop. Just make it so only the grocery store brands are eligible.

Why should they be given sugary foods that are not good for them?
