Federal authorities have charged a Rhode Island man who is accused of threatening to rape, kill and eat a college professor with pro-choice views, according to MassLive.
Matthew Haviland, who was charged with cyberstalking and sending threatening messages, allegedly wrote in a March email to the unidentified professor that the professor and others with left-wing views deserved to be "slaughtered," according to the report.

“You will have your face ripped off and eaten by me, personally,” Haviland is accused of writing. “I will enjoy raping your body after you’re dead.”
Haviland, who went to college in Boston, was arrested Wednesday on charges of cyberstalking and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce. In another email to the professor in March, Haviland allegedly wrote that he would "kill every Democrat in the world so we never more have to have our babies brutally murdered by you absolute terrorists."

“I will enjoy ripping the skin from your bodies piece by piece while you scream in agony," he added, according to authorities.
Officer Richard Laft Jr. of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force wrote in an affidavit that the professor was "very concerned" about the emails, MassLive reported....
