    I have the tiniest humming bird the comes by my butterfly bush. I thought it was a weird bug the first time I saw it. A little smaller then a cornichon pickle. Pictures are kind of impossible.

    Here's a first. I've never seen these little warriors peace out at the feeder long enough to get a photo.

    It goes dormant, and regrows from the branches, or the ground if it got colder during winter.

    No it didn't faze them at all. To them it was just another rain storm. They were confused when we finally could let them out. Their whole yard had changed. But they quickly readapted.

    They rarely come out of the woods behind the property. I don't think it's a deer delicacy anyway. They will come out to munch corn in the neighborhood gardens occasionally.
