    Back in the day it was close to free....... Health care was no where near what it is now & there was no shortage of Doctors either.......

    iy wasn't close to free -but I agree the skyrocketing costs (not universal access) are the biggest threat to health care provisioning

    Did you see Medicare is going insolvent in 7 years
