On this day of days; I have once again seen those who choose to not believe in God or the resurrection of Jesus, making comments attempting to denigrate those who do believe.

Why do so many non-believers engage in such behavior; because I don't see believers spending an equal amount of time, trying to convince the non-believers to change?

There are plenty of do-gooders running around the country trying to force us non-believers into their cult(s). They are also very good at judging others, pointing fingers of shame, and telling us that we're going to their (non-existent) hell if we don't adopt their beliefs. I'm not singling out Xtians here by any means. People obsessed with *anything* do this -- newly-created ex-smokers, football team fanatics, Game of Thrones junkies, fitness freaks, etc. It's what we humans do.

Religion is not a cult. I don’t practice any religion but I believe it can’t be bad for someone to believe when the message is good.

It’s the politicians that are great at judging others, pointing fingers of shame and telling us what we should do. Don’t you do the same with your comments.

Some religions *are* cults, sorry. Most of them are not though; that much is true. I'm glad that you've never been accosted by a well-meaning zealot intent on showing you the light, or else. For most ppl with a religion it's probably helpful to them in some way. The problems start when the person uses it as a bludgeon against others. That bludgeon can be anything from not letting their child play with yours because you-know, or sending an army to march against a group of ppl not of your faith because you-know.

BTW, all I made in my post was an observation. You decided that I was shaming and judging. How come?

You might as well ask the same question of just about any law, eh? If not killing ppl is such a good idea, why do we need laws making it a crime? If refusing to hire someone because you don't like their gender or race is okay, why do we need laws banning that practice? Why do we need laws prohibiting driving while intoxicated/stoned?

You might want to ask for some new talking points. lol

Ironic post, given that suddenly you're claiming that I said it's okay to tell ppl what kind of car/house they can have. I did not as you know. I would like to see these laws, can you provide a link?
