Science says nothing of the sort. Mutation is what allows infectious organisms, as one example, to develop resistance to antibiotics. Not so good from your POV, but excellent for the organisms' survival.

No….healthy DNA and or RNA is what allows germs to adapt, DNA just like in mankind that lies dormant until it is required to act, to adapt to a changing environment.

If nature(God) did not build this ability into the original lifeform, this ability to adapt....mankind would have gone extinct the first time he encountered that simple virus....just like that simple virus would have become extinct if it did not pre-possess that ability to adapt to an environment that would have otherwise made extinct that simple lifeform. Its called "MIRCO-EVOLUTION....i.e., horizonal evolution" the ability to adapt and overcome. There is no such thing as "MACRO evolution..i.e. vertical evolution" where something has the ability to change into a completely different life form. That virus.....is still the same virus, it just became RESISTANT to the poison that was killing it.

Nothing.....not even a simple lifeform like a plant based virus or an animal based bacterium has the ability to change into a completely different lifeform. Just as the scriptures declare and Louis Pasteur proved in experiment. Life can only be procreated by the same pre-exiting lifeform. Its the reason that life can never be manufactured in the lab.....only God can create from NOTHING.

God created nature and the physical laws that govern its existence....Just like Pasteur proved, life can only reproduce after its own kind (Genesis 1:11-12, 21, 24-25)
