Default Sickening Rhinos in the news

"I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President," [Romney on Twitter]

I can’t believe I voted for this guy once.

But you’d think he’d know better than to take a swing at Trump lol.

Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

I feel vindicated that I didn’t vote for this cocksucker. Same with McShamnesty.

While I was often disappointed, I still don’t regret voting for 43 although I will never vote for another Bush just on principle.

NeverTrumpers like Romney are going the way of the DoDo bird. They just don’t realize that they are politically irrelevant.

Don’t forget that Romney was once pro choice and he is the one that brought big gobblement healthcare to Massachusetts. Any republican that is “acceptable” to Taxachussetts voters should be a red flag to any real conservative.

I have come to the conclusion that NeverTrumpers aren’t real conservatives. They are just leftists who really like tax cuts. That is it. They should just register as democrats now

    I’m glad you’re not a federal agent because I mis-remembered lol.

I voted for McCain but I was disgusted with Romney’s unwillingness to fight back and sat that election out. A big reason I jumped on the Trump Train is because Trump is a fighter—almost to a fault, because he still has yet to learn that some people are best ignored.

But you’re right: the Rhino wing of the party could hardly be more irrelevant.

It’s Romney’s job to remind us why. I’m glad he finally found his role in politics.

they are irrelevant in terms pf policy - but in terms of votes there are dead weight.

"I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,"
It is unequivocal, and a proven fact that Trumpf and those around him lied their asses off for two years about the nature and extent of the contacts with the Russians, with the nature of bribes to porn actresses, et al., up to and including commiting felony perjury in the course of a lawful investigation.

Romney is disgusted by relentless lying. Sounds like a very reasonable view to have.

Who here was okay with all the lying, deception, and perjury the Trumpf administration engaged in?

Where do you see the party going post Trump? For the sake of discussion let’s say the party has moved from the party of Reagan to the party of Trump. There’s only one Trump. No one else can do and say what he does and get away with it. He is definitely unique in that regard. So how do you find something that can carry the populist/nationalist mantle and win national elections?

The GOP as you knew it is dead. You don’t get that this isn’t about Trump.

This is about the failures of the GOP to live up to their promises. You either aren’t smart enough to get it or don’t want to.

Who will replace Trump? Nobody can answer that. Nobody thought Trump would be where he is.

But rest assured for many we are not going back to the Kasich and Romney’s of the world.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

What regulations did Bush 43 dismantle?

Fuck what did Bush, McCain or Romney do to defend conservatism from the relentless attacks from the left?

Maybe the better question is can the old GOP win another national election?

Trump expanded the tent in a way a Bush-McCain-Romney couldn’t in the current electoral climate. And yes, Trump is unique but another person can pick up the same principles and win.

And we better win, by the looks of it. Today’s democrat party isn’t the party of Bill Clinton.
