Just look at our stances on health care. In America, affordable health care is considered Socialism. In Europe, it's considered normal. Even people who want to go further Left on health care aren't considered Socialists.
I disagree I lived there for ten years and I have good friends and God children over there. Europeans are not raised nor think like Americans, they have never experienced the freedoms we enjoy. So to try to compare the two peoples is like apples and oranges. Funny you mention health care, but not tax rates that help pay for their medical. Oh and let's not forget the VAT. You seem to forget that Greece went broke because of it's liberal policies. And lastly a system that works well in a country 1/3 the size of the US does not mean it would work here.

There's already been cases of typhoid, tetanus and that flesh-eating disease. This ain't good at all.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

But the problem is bigger than just keeping the streets clean — the issue appears to be related to the city's struggle to accommodate its homeless population amid skyrocketing rent prices and a decreasing supply of affordable housing.
They just can’t find a way TO ACCOMMODATE them
Those hard leftists will never ever get it.
At least pragmatic dems in Hawaii do. You DON’T ACCOMMODATE them! Arrest them and lock them up.
The silver lining is it gives them the social paradise they seem to desire while the rest of us can move away from these cesspools and live around like minded people.

Is this some of that big city culture people talk about?

The law in sanfran, you must pick-up your dog’s poo or face large fines. You must allow humans to poop anywhere they want or face large fines.

WHEN LIBS RUN A TOWN, SHIT WILL ABOUND

In San Francisco, people call the city's telephone hotline about 65 times a day to report piles of human feces on streets and footpaths.

That adds up to 14,597 calls placed to 311 between January 1 and August 13 last year, the San Franshitsco Chronicle reports.

Now, city officials are ramping up their response to San Francisco's "poop problem".

A team of five Public Works employees has taken to the streets of San Francshitsco's grittiest neighborhood, the Tenderloin, in a vehicle equipped with a steam cleaner.

They ride around the alleys to clean piles of poop before city denizens have a chance to complain about them, the Chronicle reports.

The poop problem has become a key issue for Mayor London Breed of San Franshitsco.

"I will say there is more feces than I've ever seen here," Breed told NBC in a recent interview.

The feces is a symptom of a much broader issue.

WOW. Didn't know that. Maybe they need to quarantine the the entire city.

Maybe we need to quarantine liberals and illegal immigrants together in sanctuary cities, Ms. Stretch.

I grew up in New Orleans and had a practice there. I knew for about the last 3 years I had to leave but just couldn’t bring myself to do it until I could suffer the city no longer. First stop was in New Mexico and after about a month of adaptation it was heaven.
Anchorage is going to shit and rapidly. I see the same signs and symptoms I saw in N.O. Once a city goes to pot it never really comes back. Luckily I have less than a yr. before partial retirement. I'll sell the practice in less than a year so I've got spring fever mentality.
