What do you think a “severe conservative” like Romney would do about it? He could talk about how he ran the olympics right?

What do you think a “compassionate conservative” like Bush 43 would do?

They should get a “severe conservative” like Romney to get in there and clean it up. Remember he ran the olympics or something

Actually, I linked to an article that explained the real reasons Greece went broke. If you want to ignore it, and put feels over reals, that's your choice.
From your article: UNCOMPETIVE/UNPRODUCTIVE – Less than half of Greeks work, nearly 50 percent of those under 25 are unemployed, 25 percent of the estimated Gross Domestic Product is in the undeclared underground black economy, and the government spends 42 percent of its limited funds on social benefits,

Sounds like excessive liberalism to me.

If you actually look at the numbers, you'll see that most European countries have less homelessness per capita. Most of the ones that do have more than America are countries that are still recovering from Communism.

"A European housing body has warned that homelessness and exclusion from housing has reached crisis point in the majority of countries in the EU. European Union.
Feantsa, the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless, has released its second report on housing exclusion in Europe, in conjunction with French housing charity Fondation Abbé Pierre. The report highlights “alarming evidence of rising homelessness” and calls for EU member states to put eliminating homelessness at the core of their social policy agendas."

Go ahead and continue to wear your liberal rose colored glasses. Europe is not the utopia you make it out to be.

Who says this country needs "generous" social programs? And how is not paying anything at all in taxes improving the economy?

As soon as you Fuckwad Republicans stop producing policies that foster people losing their homes and becoming homeless, most homeless people will go back to their normal lives.

Do you even realize how many millions of people that lost their homes and how many 100's of millions of people lost their jobs just during the clown circus we know now as the Bush Administration years?

    Get real!

If you want to improve the country, you want generous social programs. If you don't care about the country, then that's another story.

I said the system you outlined, where everyone pays the same amount in taxes, doesn't improve the economy. If you do want to improve the economy, then rich people should pay a lot more.

    How many?

I'll understand if you don't know, of course.

I seem to recall that some JPP liberals were outraged by the uniforms the committee picked that year.

Now they seem to love Mittzie the Mormon multimillionaire.
