    Not logic, bitterness.

We don't celebrate the death of Jesus, we celebrate His resurrection.

The usual response is: "God always was".
Then the Reply is: "The Universe always was".

So, ... you actually believe a human being can fly away like a hydrogen-filled balloon? (BTW, where did he fly away to?)

He extends 'common grace' to all us sinners...beauty of his sunrises and sunsets, enjoying the sounds of his birds singing, the smell of the salt air on his oceans, the softness of a dove.
He's quite merciful as he waits.

If one chooses not to accept his offer of forgiveness, love, peace for all eternity then that's your choice. He's God, we're not. And, you do have a voice in the matter.
God has said that he sets before us two roads. Life or death. Then he even gives us the answer key........"Choose life".
    Good advice.
The Apostles of Christ explain God's plan of salvation with no ambiguity whatsoever. Man has a choice, the freedom to accept or not accept the truth and wisdom being delivered in the Word through the Holy Spirit....The Spirit delivered truth from heaven through those He (the Holy Spirit) inspired, directly during the time of the Christ who had the spirit without measure (proving that the Spirit was given/granted in measure as determined by the Throne of Heaven....Christ being God incarnate was unlimited with that Holy Spirit...….

"For He (the Christ) whom God has sent speaks the words of God; For God given not the Spirit by measure to Him (the Christ)." -- John 3:34

The purpose of the Holy Spirit was to deliver Truth from heaven through the teachings of Christ. "Sanctify them by Your Truth.....Your word is Truth." -- John 17:17 Sanctify: to make pure, to make Holy

God tells us what He wants for every man....but its a free will choice they have to make. "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness, He is patient with you, not wanting you to perish, but everyone come to repentance." -- 2 Peter 3:9 "This is good, and pleases God our savior, who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the TRUTH." -- 1 Tim. 2:3-4

There is the simple truth.....God wants everyone to be saved, but there is a condition.....its TRUTH that first must be accepted before salvation is possible.

That truth was first delivered from Heaven by THE CHRIST though the power bestowed upon Him via the Holy Spirit that descended upon Him like a dove.....Christ taught this truth while He was alive, and then promised His Apostles they would be able to continue in teaching the same truth as He because God would send a Helper, the Holy Spirit to bring remembrance of His teaching back to them after His death. -- John 15:26

Today....we find TRUTH through the inspired record of those same Apostles, The Holy Scriptures. Today.....the Holy Spirit dwells within us when we adhere to that Truth found in the Holy Scriptures. If you want to talk to God, go to the record of that truth and be advised by God. That record contains everything that pertains unto Life and Godliness. (2 Peter 1:2-4) We have the Spirit (when that Word lives within us) with measure.

Which reminds me of an old native American analogy concerning good and evil....the 2 choices. The Spirit with measure works the same way today.

The story goes like this in native American tradition. In each of us lives 2 ravenous wolves, one good, one evil. They are constantly at battle with one another, but ultimately there can only be one victor. Who that victor will be is determined by which Spirit is given the most to eat.....for he will become the stronger. If you feed your Spirit (your mind) from the truth found in THE WORD...good will prevail, if your Spirit is feed a consistent secular diet......the god of this world will win out (Satan).

    pretty lame deflection

let's put it this way - would Jesus support a leader that hated the poor, tortured immigrants, cut health care services, cut food assistance for the poor and defunded their schools, all before lunch?

or would he simply tell you to get over it, go home and pray for the asshole?

    you sound like an idiot

Hardly. Jesus followed the plan, even though He could have stopped it at any time, but His death was necessary to the salvation of mankind. Peter used his sword to cut off the ear of one the Roman Soldiers that came to arrest the Christ. The Christ rebuked Peter saying If I wanted to be saved I could have requested from heaven 12 Legions of Angels (72,000). Then He goes on to explain why He must be arrested and ultimately die on the sacrificial cross. If the arrest had not been allowed to occur the Prophecy of God could not have been fulfilled....God had a plan, Jesus followed that plan. -- Matt. 26:47-56, Mark 14:43-52, Luke 22:47-53, John 18:2-12.

Unlike Father Abraham.....God held the hand of Abraham from offering up his son as a sacrifice for mankind (God wanted to prove the faith of Abraham). God remembered His promise, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...…." This time God did not stay the hand of the executioner, the perfect Lamb that was required to fulfill the Law of Moses had to be sacrificed for the salvation of mankind. Thus, the 2 Books The Old and the New. Under the old....there was no perfect sacrifice, no man walked this earth without sin nor blemish, thus the annual sacrifice to carry over the sins until next season. Under the New Law......that perfect sacrifice has been offered and accepted fulfilling the requirements under THE LAW. Today we live and have the chance at salvation through GRACE...a gift from God the Father.

Jews believe Christianity to be idolatry and paganism.

For example, Christians worship a virgin born man-god, a god that is intrinsically more than one but extrinsically one, and the vicarious atonement (scapegoating).

The paganism in Christianity is the Christian belief and worship of the triple persons of god.

The Torah in specific and the Tanakh in general rejects such heinous beliefs.
“If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have the bad image.”

    — Golda Meir

Zionism is the movement for the self-determination and statehood for the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, the land of Israel.

“If Hamas put down their weapons, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons, there would be no Israel."

Or.….allow Peter to slay His captors. Jesus had no choice....God cannot lie, He kept His promises made to Father Abraham, the prophecy was fulfilled. Jesus prayed about it.....so intense was His prayers that He sweated Blood asking His Father to let this cup pass from Him.

No, Jesus was a masochistic who enjoyed getting whipped because Mary used to give him lots of spankings.
