The Democrats seem to have totally lost the plot, they are screaming about AGW yet want to shut down the largest source of carbon free energy. That is just insane, the lunatics have finally taken over the asylum.
Do Republicans realize how vulnerable Democrats have made themselves on climate change?
Out of one side of their mouths Democrats say we have just 12 years until climate doomsday. Out of the other side of their mouth they call for shutting down nuclear plants, our largest source of clean energy.

Oh, that’s just plain sneaky lol.
Republicans can pay lip service to AGW while advocating for more nuclear power plants. Seems such an obvious ploy—but do we have any republicans smart enough to do it?
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
The smarter environmentalists like Michael Shellenburger have realised that nuclear is essential, sadly the AOCs of the world are not so clued up.

both are additions to existing plants.......compare that with nuclear power plants shut down in the US.....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclea..._United_StatesAs of September 2017, there are two new reactors under construction with a gross electrical capacity of 2,500 MW, while 34 reactors have been permanently shut down.[2][3]
all existing nuclear power plants are over 40 years old......
