Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg[1] ( /ˈbuːtədʒədʒ/ BOO-tə-jəj;[2][3] born January 19, 1982) is an American politician and former Naval Intelligence Officer who has served as the mayor of the city of South Bend, Indiana since 2012.
