Ok then, I'll put you on the list of folks who don't have any idea why the lefty media is pimping Buttplug, and who don't know of a single policy that he stands for.

A lot of Leftists like his interpretation of Christianity. Much of the Left is Christian, they just don't like the typical right-wing Mike Pence version of Christianity. So when Pete Buttigieg says that he believes God wants us to help the poor, that resonates with many Leftists.
