I have stated many times on here my opposition to GMO crops. Primarily because, whilst relatively benign now, it will only be a matter of time before somebody uses animal genes. Sadly it looks like the Chinese are way ahead of me and are splicing human genes into monkey brains. So Mott, what do you have to say about that?

Chinese splicing human genes into monkey brains
Oh great, more Trump voters.
C'MON MAN!!!!
China is a rogue nation in lots of various fields from military to business and now animal research.
I doubt there are any real limitations on any gene splicing by the Chinese
They don't seem to be held back by any ...
It's sheer clinical and methodical research.
Some Chinese guy said that whoever controls the future technology, will control the World.
"Eugenics (/juːˈdʒɛnɪks/; from Greek εὐγενής eugenes 'well-born' from εὖ eu, 'good, well' and γένος genos, 'race, stock, kin')[2][3] is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population by excluding (through a variety of morally criticized means) certain genetic groups judged to be inferior, and promoting other genetic groups judged to be superior.[4][5] The definition of eugenics has been a matter of debate since the term was coined by Francis Galton in 1883. The concept predates the term; Plato suggested applying the principles of selective breeding to humans around 400 BCE."
