Post $4 gas is nearly a reality for many Americans

These high ass gas prices won't be MAGA?!!

New York (CNN Business)US gasoline prices are becoming a real pain for motorists, particularly in the west.

A survey of more than 5,000 gas stations conducted by AAA shows that the average price for a gallon of regular gas is now $2.75, up 11% in the last month. And the average price is already above $3 a gallon in six western states: California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Alaska.

Four-dollar gas is the average in a couple of California counties. Many others are within a few cents of that mark, including San Francisco, where the average price is $3.98. The statewide average in California is up 20 cents a gallon, or 5%, to $3.83 in just the last week.

The Midwest has also been hit by price spikes. The average price in Chicago has jumped 46 cents a gallon, or 16%, to $3.27 in the last month.

Now, why do you suppose gas is over 4 dollars in certain California counties? More importantly, did you complain when gas was four bucks under Obama? Of course not, liberals celebrated the high gas prices. STFU.

Why are you complaining? High gas prices mean people buy more fuel efficient cars. Just another example of someone who says they care about global warming but don’t like having to sacrifice anything themselves.

Ken, do you support the fuel efficiency standards we have in California that make gas as much as $1/gallon more than the rest of the country?

What say you Ken? Do you support higher fuel efficiency standards that increase gas prices? Do you agree that higher gas prices are better to deal with climate change?

My next vehicle will be electric, I hope in five years time, electric vehicles will have a 400 mile range and a 10 minute full charge time or less!

Yep. I was paying $4 a gallon back in 2014 when I moved away from Connecticut. Been there... done that.

Still under $3 here in Columbus.

    Enjoy your big city, libtards!

That is all utopian thinking for this country unless we have more power plants and a smart grid. Sounds good though.

I do believe he is implying hypocrisy on Trump's part given Trump taking credit for lowering gas prices at an earlier time

In reality, a President has little control over gas prices, may be able to influence such in a long run, but is incapable of reversing sudden or market changes.

However, just like the Stock Market, and unlike most prior Presidents, this reality doesn't seem to influence Trump, when indicators are up he is quick to take credit, when down, goes quiet, or blames somebody else. He knows the Trumpkins will only remember the former and forget the later, the 'singalman" is just reminding them

Columbus, Ohio? Did you think the largest city in Ohio was a small town? or, probably more like Columbus, Mississippi, which is so, well good luck with that one

Liberals generally vote for higher taxes, etc, until.....it actually affects them personally.
