Should we consider it??
Should we consider closing the US to any immigrants, for around 1 year?
During that year the US should focus on immigration reform, helping our own citizens, ordering all illegals to report (so their cases can be heard) or face automatic deportation, when found.
The US should finish the wall and develop ways to "patrol" those areas that aren't readily accessible by ICE vehicles and improve equipment at the ports of entry.
We could still allow licensed workers to cross, both ways, and cargo to be delivered.
I'm sure there's more; but this is a start.

And? It is still the biggest bunch of bullshit ever. They are basing that on the amount of drugs stopped at ports of entry. When you get a chance take a look at how many drugs come into this country annually and what gets stopped at the port of entry at the borders.
