Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a left wing BAN guns agenda driven organization; their claims are not only moronic, but lies.
Tonic? That's your spource? STFU Regurgitation of the agenda driven Center for Disease control.
Giffords Law service? STFU!
USA Today quoting 24/7 Wall Street? STFU!!
This anti-Gun web site is merely making the FALSE claim that if you make purchasing a gun really hard, fewer people will own guns. That is a pile of excrement as well.
My favorite bullshit story about Chicago. Yeah you dumb fuck, the thugs on the South-side murdering themselves drive all the way to Indiana to buy their guns legally.
You're too stupid and suffer from a severe lack of IQ to comprehend how stupid that is.
FACTS instead of BULLshit:
Here are eight stubborn facts to keep in mind about gun violence in America:
(1) Violent crime is down and has been on the decline for decades.

(2) The principal public safety concerns with respect to guns are suicides and illegally owned handguns, not mass shootings.

(3) A small number of factors significantly increase the likelihood that a person will be a victim of a gun-related homicide.

(4) Gun-related murders are carried out by a predictable pool of people.

(5) Higher rates of gun ownership are not associated with higher rates of violent crime.

(6) There is no clear relationship between strict gun control legislation and homicide or violent crime rates.

(7) Legally owned firearms are used for lawful purposes much more often than they are used to commit crimes or suicide.

(8) Concealed carry permit holders are not the problem, but they may be part of the solution.
What a surprise, "truthie" doesn't like the sources, notice he didn't offer any evidence to invalidate the sources, he just didn't like them so they got to be bogus, and to make it even more comical, he returns with "the Heritage," beautiful, might as well used the NRA as a source
And the "all the way to Indiana" is less than an hour, duh, any entrepreneur with a trunk in his car can making a killing
Crime is down, but mass shootings are up, way up, and the greatest "factor significantly increase the likelihood that a person will be a victim of a gun-related homicide" is having a gun present in one's environment.
Perhaps there does exist a "a predictable pool of people," but we don't necessarily know who they are nor what their targets may be, but we do what tool they will use to execute their plans, and that is the easiest variable to control
And if there is "no relationship between strict gun control legislation and homicide or violent crime rates" why is it that the majority of those States with stricter gun laws have fewer gun homicides than the opposite relationship?
And I love to know how carrying is part of the solution when having more guns out there has proven not to reduce gun violence
