Rosenweasel himself stood by his memo for Trump to fire Comey. It's much more impactful to see Rosenweasel be the one (not Mullet) to let go of any obstruction indictment.

I think you forget that Rosenstein ordered the Mueller investigation because Trump firing Comey strongly smelled of Obstruction of Justice. Have you simply filed that under the shroud of deriding Rosenstein? And do you think looking for other crimes in the process was somehow wrong? Especially when we have a deeply divided public where the majority suspects Trump of wrongdoing?

And? Insufficient evidence doesn't mean no obstruction, just that there's not enough to support prosecution. The end of the paragraph above yours still says The Special Counsel states that "while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

So why didn't Mueller go deeper into a conclusion for potential obstruction instead of leaving it open for the AG?
