Default U.S. Posts Largest-Ever Monthly Budget Deficit, whither the teabags?!?!?!?!

I'm old enough to remember when Trump's economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, said the tax cuts would pay for themselves last summer.

Tax cuts don't have to pay for themselves. But yes, revenues are definitely up, that is irrefutable. It's the spending, stupid.

Liberals are suddenly worried about debt and deficits? What are Democrats doing about the spending? I mean, you know, besides nothing.

So since they don't pay for themselves...

    ...don't increase economic activity...

    ...create budget deficits...

...and result in higher levels of household debt...

...then what's your reason for them?

When you say 'revenues', does that include the billions that the taxpayers are spending on import tariffs?

Secondly, yeah, spending...like the $100B spending increase to the defense department and the $12B bailout of farmers because of your shitty trade policy.

You're the ones who increased defense spending by $100B.

You're the ones who increased spending by $12B to bail out farmers because of your dumb trade policy.

You're the ones who reduced revenue by 2% because you cut taxes.

You're the ones responsible for all of it.

What a dishonest moron. They don't increase deficits; spending increases them. They don't result in lower revenue and they do increase economic activity.

But, lying assholes like you who have their empty heads stuck up their assholes can't know that because you lack the mental capacity to comprehend the OBVIOUS.

Not only is this the largest monthly deficit of all time, but all deficit records that have been made this century happened with a Conservative President.

Parts of '18 were still governed by old tax rates. So yes...revenue was actually down, but I'm just curious about how the tariffs factor into this? Likewise for the one time repatriation of overseas money.

    Eat shit, you fucking fraud.
You fucking moron, the Federal Fiscal year goes from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.

    Revenue October 2016 to September 2017 = $3,314,893 Billion.
    Revenue October 2017 to September 2018 = $3,328,745 Billion.

$3,328,745 > $3,314,893 2018 Revenues actually increased by $13,852 Billion, or .41% over 2017. Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed into law on December 22, 2017.
