What does that question have to do with "captures"?

Where are all of the people coming into this country with nothing going to go?

that's ridiculous. they SURRENDER to Border Patrol -and not for "amnesty" - for an asylum hearing which is done within the Flores time of 20 days .
But that's just an immediate qualification hearing -they then have to go before an immigration judge.
    2diferent steps
The fact we have 800k in holding for that Hearing shows the craziness of the Amnesty procedure
when we have such a backlog. When we can't process in time, then the overflow is "captured and now "released"

Trump is trying to hire more judges, but I'm not sure what Congress has funded.
If you had a shred of intellectual honesty you'd call it a humanitarian crisis -as well as a security/economic issue

They are not captures is the point.

No, the overflow is not "captured" and now "released."

You do not understand the meaning of how the words are used, but, CosmicRocker, you admit they turned themselves in for amnest proceedings. Maybe there is some hop for you.

What "hop" is there for all the people here now ("amnest" or not) with no*place to go?

Sorry, guys, when you factor out as "captures" those who lawfully turned themselves in at the amnesty portals, we have historic lows of illegal entry and capture. iow, there is no border emergency.

"Catch and release", that's a really funny way of saying "Habeus corpus".

The racist rw identitarians are fated to loose this battle.

Demographics of age and ethnicity are against the old white GOP folks.

    that is insane.
your point their is no capture but there is surrender is meaningless -and it's not how border apprehensions are counted.
Obama uses to deport single males right from the border - and they were counted as deportations despite
the fact they never made it in country.

I notice you still can't even call 800k migrants in detention a humanitarian crisis brought on by our asylum laws.

So you hang onto whatever narrow meaning you think has worth despite there being a
distinction without a difference in the term "captured" we captured 66k at the border in February.
we are on track to 1 million more in 2019 -whatever term you wanna use

The turning in of immigrants lawfully to portals for amnesty proceedings is far different that being captured in an illegal entry.

Anybody who thinks differently simply is a low level concrete thinker.

The meaning of 'capture' is quite clear, and those who have trouble in understanding there is no border emergency are the ones to be pitied.
