Well they're not required by law to give a platform to anyone they want. Conservatives still have their freedom of speech, but they don't always get a platform.

If it is a public school they are restricted by the 1st Amendment and cannot make policies restricting constitutionally protected speech when it does not involve disruption of normal activities. Many have lost lawsuits because of unconstitutional restrictions.
