Trout, 27, is set to sign a contract extension that will pay him a total of over $430 million until he’s 39 years old. Born in New Jersey, Trout was picked by the Angels in the first round in 2009. He was AL rookie of the year in 2012 and has been an All-Star seven times, baseball’s MVP twice, and he’s finished second in MVP voting four times.

Exactly the problem with capitalism. You may as well declare a seismometer a moral arbiter of the earth's condition.

The argument for capitalism is void of morality. The sum of all indivisual choices is the decision, the extant condition of the world, and it is supposed that creates
conditions of maximum happiness. Well, sometimes a capitalist acquires huge sums that create financial a landslide that crushes millions.

To think that doing nothing to affect anything at a macro level (capitalism) is the best system is not supported by any measure.
In fact, the only time it is attempted is at the highest rungs of modern society which/who is/are above the reach of laws that apply
to the "little people," and results in aberrant pay to athletes and low pay to public school teachers as you indicate.
