If you don't want good relations, why send an ambassador? Brexit will fuck up the UK but won't hurt Germany.

The Welsh Windbag demonstrating just how little he knows about trade and economics. Germany export over 800,000 vehicles to the UK each year. We are their largest export market bar none, it would hurt them badly if a 10% tariff was imposed.

No, it wouldn't hurt Germany. It would hurt the citizens of the UK who would have to pay 10% more if they want a decent car. The US is finding out now who really pays for tariffs.

Default Trump's ambassadors are the least qualified among modern presidents

The U.S. ambassadors appointed by President Trump have given more financial support to his election than any cohort of ambassadors in recent history, even as they demonstrated fewer qualifications for the job, according to a new study of ambassadorial appointments over the last three decades.

What a load of bullshit, if we buy less cars then that will affect Germany badly. Are you a Welsh Marxist as well?

Germans have more sense than to live in the past. We should learn from them.

If you bothered to read the study, about .4% of the German auto manufacturing workforce is projected to be laid off. Yes, that is point four percent.

What are you? Some CAGW Alarmist?

Yeah, you have been wrong a long time.
An Ambassador does not get involved in politics and especially controversial ones. He reports to the State Department as an observer. If he sees something wrong he relays it to State. He does not start controversies. He does not get in arguments or disputes.

Meanwhile the British auto purchaser would be paying 10% more for a good German auto vs the 0.4% cost to the German auto industry.

Math is hard sometimes but your non sequitur doesn't doesn't wish the math out of existence.
