Mueller's challenge is to remain quiet no matter what he has learned. He cannot make public statements about the ongoing investigation without compromising the legal process.
President Trump is free to say anything he likes, and it doesn't even have to be true.
Therefore, it becomes Muller's challenge to say nothing, even as Trump is allowed to speak freely in order to shape public opinion on the issue.
Trump can call it anything he likes, as frequently as he likes, and Mueller cannot comment.
It is no surprise that so many people are influenced by what the President they voted for says.
And that has nothing at all to do with whether it is true or not.
If the people wanted to learn if the President is speaking truthfully or lying, they should direct their representatives to vote for releasing the Mueller report. Oh, wait a minute. They already did.
Belief is one thing. Verification is another.
Release the Muller Report, Mr President, if you want to back up what you say.
I think the onus is on Mullet and The Resistance to back up what they’ve been claiming about Trump for almost three years.
Also, it would be incumbent upon Mullet to alert congress the minute he discovered the president was an agent of the Russian government so you could probably throw that out.
