The AR-15 can fire faster and hold more bullets than most other semi-automatics.
I'm fine with allowing people to own basic guns for self-defense, but the AR-15 seems unnecessary unless you want to kill a bunch of people in a shooting spree.
Laws reduce those things from happening. Sure, people still kill, but can you imagine how many more murderers we'd have if murder was legal?Drunk driving still happens even though it is illegal. Murder still happens, even though it is illegal. Terrorist acts using automatic weapons still happen even with bans. So tell me snowflake, how are more laws going to make anyone safer?

Actually.... https://www.cheatsheet.com/automobil...-america.html/
It can fire faster and hold more ammo than the average semi-automatic.What makes the AR15 'so dangerous'?
If you want to own a basic gun to defend yourself, I have no problem. I just don't think people should own guns that make shooting sprees so easy.

So you're okay with a Ruger Mini-14 that has the same capability simply because it doesn't look like a modern military weapon?
What laws would have prevented any of those shootings from happening? That has got to be the most moronic claim I have seen, especially what happened in Norway, New Zealand and France.
