It's not socialism that led to the chaos in Venezuela, it's capitalism (as it always is).

Venezuela's economy is reliant on fossil-fuel production. So when the price of oil is high, Venezuela enjoys a wave of revenues based off the global price per barrel of oil. But when the price of oil declines, the revenues based off that decline as well thus creating budget crunches. The same thing happened in Texas and Oklahoma back in 2016, when the price per barrel of oil dropped significantly.

Now, Conservatives have taken to say if Venezuela merely used the revenues to further develop and expand oil production, they wouldn't face the problems they face today. But that is completely wrong because if Venezuela did that and increased production and expansion, that would only result in a further decline in the price per barrel because it would be increasing the supply of oil. So Venezuela can't merely drill their way out of the mess because doing so only further devalues the price of oil as they increase the supply.

So as you see, this isn't a failure of socialism. It actually has nothing to do with socialism and everything to do with the global, capitalist cartels who set the price of oil and control the supply that fluctuates the price.

Sure....people all over TEXAS in 2016 were starving and suffering from ROLLING BLACKOUTS because the price of oil dropped

And why did it drop? Because OPEC increased the global supply, which led to a reduction in the price per barrel. So Texas, so heavily reliant on fossil fuel revenues for its budget, faced virtually the same situation Venezuela faced; unable to meet its budgetary commitments because of a drop in oil revenues thanks to the increase to the global supply.

..but OBAMA CARE came to the rescue...right..err...LEFT? Truth? Venezuela has 20% of the entire globes OIL RESERVES. The problem is not a product to sell and service....the problem is as always with SCOCIALIZATION....THE STATE took control of all industry, banks, property etc...…..and despite owning the same % of oil reserves as some middle eastern nations....The communist government in Venezuela bankrupted the nation because of a corrupt Totalitarian Regime.

None of this matters if the price per barrel declines. It doesn't matter if the oil is owned by the state or a private company, both are affected by an increase in supply and decrease in global price per barrel; and the more oil you extract, the lower the price per barrel goes. So drilling more and increasing production will not put you ahead, it will result in you falling farther behind.

COMMUNISM has mismanaged the people's wealth into nothingness. Just like the socialists in the US are responsible for a 20 trillion dollar credit card bill paying for the waste that is socialism.

Most of that $20T are wars and tax cuts you wanted.
