Please Professor Dumbfuck, tell me how you arrive at that? Be specific. This is important enough for you to take that cock out of your mouth for a minute.

Venezuela's economy is reliant on fossil-fuel production. So when the price of oil is high, Venezuela enjoys a wave of revenues based off the global price per barrel of oil. But when the price of oil declines, the revenues based off that decline as well thus creating budget crunches. The same thing happened in Texas and Oklahoma back in 2016, when the price per barrel of oil dropped significantly.

Now, Conservatives have taken to say if Venezuela merely used the revenues to further develop and expand oil production, they wouldn't face the problems they face today. But that is completely wrong because if Venezuela did that and increased production and expansion, that would only result in a further decline in the price per barrel because it would be increasing the supply of oil. So Venezuela can't merely drill their way out of the mess because doing so only further devalues the price of oil as they increase the supply.

So as you see, this isn't a failure of socialism. It actually has nothing to do with socialism and everything to do with the global, capitalist cartels who set the price of oil and control the supply that fluctuates the price.

those are government directive programs targeted to specific needs or insurance constructs.
But the money involved n the economy they support are capitalism.

Why am I not surprsied you support a socialist USA?
And you might want to ask yourself if the US politicians drained SSA for omnibus budgeting needs
what's the possibility they wouldn't do the same with any pot of money they came across.

Do you trust Congress to direct the economy?? what could go wrong??

Right. It's a yin and yang. someone has a need, and someone else takes a chance someone will have that need, and when it works out, everyone gets what they want. If the guy taking a chance thinks the government might take his inventory and hand it out, why would he keep doing it?

God, just think of the all the little things we enjoy that make no sense in a socialist society:
Movies: Is the government producing movies via public opinion survey? FUN STUFF!
Restaurants: All restaurants are taco bell now
Sports: Which team do we root for when we own them all?

LOL this could go on and on

It took years, but a lot of them have.

We have more urgency now because we dragged our feet this entire time.

And why did it drop? Because OPEC increased the global supply, which led to a reduction in the price per barrel. So Texas, so heavily reliant on fossil fuel revenues for its budget, faced virtually the same situation Venezuela faced; unable to meet its budgetary commitments because of a drop in oil revenues thanks to the increase to the global supply.

None of this matters if the price per barrel declines. It doesn't matter if the oil is owned by the state or a private company, both are affected by an increase in supply and decrease in global price per barrel; and the more oil you extract, the lower the price per barrel goes. So drilling more and increasing production will not put you ahead, it will result in you falling farther behind.

COMMUNISM has mismanaged the people's wealth into nothingness. Just like the socialists in the US are responsible for a 20 trillion dollar credit card bill paying for the waste that is socialism.
Most of that $20T are wars and tax cuts you wanted.

What socialist states were those - somewhere on the Moon, perhaps, where the imperialist armies couldn't get at them? Socialism is political control by the (normally huge majority) working class. I don't know how big this class is in Venezuela, but if you believe they are in control you have been taking too may drugs from your Colombian colony.

We can pass Canadian-style call-it-whatever-you-want, and you can sit from behind your keyboard and type "ack-chu-uh-lee" all day long and give yourself comfort that your ad hoc definition of things is the standard.

    Sounds like a plan.

Not really because I know Denmark isn't fascist, but if you were coming out in support of whatever-it-is-you-want-to-call-European-socialism, then I'd let you have that bottle.

So why do you keep defending socialism? Why are self-proclaimed socialists getting elected to congress? Because they're idiots. Because they have no clue what they're talking about.
OK, so everyone is wrong on the game of semantics except you. LOL. What a fucking crybaby.
