The nonbinding House resolution calls for the public release of any report the special counsel Robert Mueller provides to Barr, with an exception for classified material. Photograph: Chris Maddaloni/CQ-Roll Call, IncThe House has unanimously voted for a resolution calling for any final report in the special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation to be made public. The symbolic action designed to pressure the attorney general, William Barr, to release as much information as possible when the inquiry ends.
Democratic-backed resolution, which passed 420-0, comes as Mueller appears to be nearing an end to his investigation. Lawmakers in both parties have maintained there will have to be some sort of public discussion when the report is done – and privately hope that a report shows conclusions that are favorable to their own side. The resolution is unlikely to be passed in the Senate, where the Democratic Leader, Chuck Schumer, tried to bring it up hours after House passage. He was rebuffed when the Senate judiciary committee chairman, Lindsey Graham, objected. But the House vote shows that lawmakers from both parties are eager to view Mueller’s findings after almost two years of speculation about what they might reveal...

I wonder if it’s occured to the goof balls in the House that they may not like everything in Mullet’s report lol?
For example, it’s bound to contain exculpatory evidence that there was no collusion. That’s obvious, because none of Mullet’s indictments say a word about it. There’s bound to be other stuff as well. If the report is made public democrats will try and wring something/anything out of it and republicans will, rightfully, harp on how misguided the whole charade was.
Plenty of grist for the mill for both sides. How about we shut that circus down before it gets started. Not like congress doesn’t have anything better to do.
And since the Mullet investigation was essentially a counterintelligence investigation, Barr can take a page out of the Deep State play book and hide behind the ‘must protect sources and methods’ ploy they used to stonewall Nunes with.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
