Thumbs down Reagan budget director: Most of what fuckin dummy trump says on economy is 'baloney'

"People ought to recognize that almost everything that Trump is saying about the economy is totally baloney," Stockman, a frequent Trump critic, told hosts Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton on "Rising."

"We're in deep trouble. We're at the end of a long business cycle that has been very weak, and that he's proposed a catastrophe of a fiscal plan," he continued.

Stockman pinpointed Trump's proposed budget, calling the plan unrealistic.

"When you look at it, it's an insult to fiscal intelligence, to say nothing of common sense," he said. "He's proposing to add $4 trillion to the deficit just in the next four years."

"I think that is nuts at this late stage in the business cycle. In fact, if you look at it, it will cover month 123 to month 171 of this expansion, which began in June of 2009," he added. "The reason I dwell on that is there has never been in the history of the United States been a business cycle that lasted more than 119 months, and that was the tech boom of the 1990s."

Trump's proposed budget request includes large cuts to domestic spending, including programs like Medicare and Medicaid, while boosting defense spending and requesting $8.6 billion in new funding for a border wall.

The budget is dead on arrival in the Democratic-controlled House, though it sets the stage for another shutdown battle later this year.

Trump regularly touts the state of the economy under his administration, pointing to low unemployment and steady job growth.

    — Julia Manchester
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

If Reagan was alive today, the republicunts would NOT welcome him into the party.

trump has brainwashed all the republicunts to worship him and only him.

trump could rape and murder a child live on national TV and the republicunts would STILL support him.

30% of Republican voters...not Republican legislators.

Which is just barely enough to scare the latter into falling in line, for fear of a primary challenge.

The smart ones retired while they had the chance. They're all making countless millions in the private sector, after delivering a nation crushing tax handout.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Actually Stockman is anything but establishment. In fact he’s about as an anti establishment as you can get considering his past. He’s a great Twitter follow. You may not agree with his conclusions on American foreign policy, the economy or the Fed but he’s a sharp guy, no ones lackey and has views you won’t hear on TV from establishment folks. Nor is a partisan shill. Dude tells it like he sees it. Very refreshing actually.

The DEMS would not up military spending without the same amount added to domestic spending ( Ryan Omnibus)

Trump jacked the debt up 2 trillion. Not the house, but Daffy. Trump spends other people's money so easily. Get rid of that stupid fence and end the military increases and we would be better off.
