But the Benjamins baby lol.
Omar is not likely to change her stripes so you’ll probably have other chances to defend antisemitism.
What’s instructional about this is how democrat politicians are more apt to survive after making bigoted statements than republicans are. All a republican or conservative needs to do is utter a statement *that can be construed as* racist or bigoted and it’s one strike and you’re out.
Only Trump is wonderfully immune to it and it drives lefties crazy.
Look at what happened to the woman judge that Fox pulled off the air for making a comment *that can be construed as* anti-Muslim. Meanwhile, a Northam can survive an overtly racist incident in his own past because he’s a liberal democrat. Omar’s statements are easily *construed as* anti-Semitism and the proof is many Jews are offended by them.
Joe Lieberman came out against it/her recently. Unlike Bernie, Joe doesn’t have his hat in the ring so he’s more free to call out anti Semitism than Bernie is: In contrast, Bernie has to soft-peddle it or risk losing his antisemitist base.
I think liberal Jews will one day wake up and realize they’ve been sleeping with the enemy. I just hope it’s not too late.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
